We offer a new solution, and this is a full alternative to almost all existing pickups.
The purpose of our developing Passive-Active Sound System was to allow musicians to change the resonance frequency, a key characteristic of the pickup, on their own.
When we succeeded, we decided not to stop and provide even more opportunities in producing of a unique sound. So, we added a piezo system to each of our instruments, raised the output signal level, added the option to replace the standard pickup switch with a balance knob, but kept the pickup sound exactly “passive” and the control unit stayed uncomplicated and convenient.
The piezo pickup is a surprisingly rare thing in modern guitars and basses. And nevertheless, it is very useful. Maybe it will not come in handy often, but when it is needed, it will be extremely difficult to replace it with something else.
The increased output signal level makes the instrument undemanding in terms of the quality and length of the connecting cable. In addition, this signal overloads subsequent amplifiers better.
The increased peak of the resonant frequency makes the pickup sound brighter and more dynamic while maintaining the same timbre pattern.
A balance knob is an alternative option to traditional switches that significantly expands the instrument’s functionality.
PASS © | SIXTH GENERATION
We constantly work to improve our guitars and their electronics. In the new system generation, we use the highest-grade electronic components available on this planet, which, in addition to a number of advantages, also have a high power consumption.
Battery
That’s why we have built a lithium-ion battery into the system that can be connected to any USB device. A fully charged battery can work for up to one year, and charging your guitar from time to time is more convenient than changing the battery once a month.
LED markers system
In addition, the lithium-ion battery allowed us to implement our signature LED Markers System – fully serviced electronics complex. System involves installing a diode under the neck pickup, which ensures low power consumption. That is, the markers remain clearly visible, but practically do not affect the battery level.
Pickups
Starting with the fifth generation of the PASS © system, we have been installing fundamentally new pickups, which specific properties make it possible to reduce the signal of a very wide spectrum, and the neodymium magnets make it very dynamic.

PASS STUDIO ©
The widest sound palette. Switching between pickups is performed by the balance knob. Yes, this is not as familiar as the traditional toggle switch, but it opens up amazing abilities for customizing an arbitrary pickup mix, which is especially good when working with a mix of piezo pickup and electromagnetic neck pickup.
