This specific Diptych comes as a result of all our work and experience up to and including 2024. At the moment, these builds are the maximum that we can offer as absolutely unique, thoughtful and interesting guitars.
Since we are definitely proud of these guitars, we would like to show some elements a bit closer. There are quite a lot of interesting elements, but we will highlight those of major uniqueness.
HEADSTOCK

It’s not just about design, rather it’s about experience; the ability to tune your guitar or replace strings, touching only wooden elements. Unique, easy to use and pleasant to your tactile sense.
FRETBOARD
Progressive/Partial scale scalloping
This version is a smart option for players, not used to playing scalloped fretboards, but would like to experiment with it.
The scalloped part of the 8-27th frets offer the needed space under the fingers when bending/performing vibrato, mainly on the treble strings. The rest of the fretboard remains unchanged for two main reasons. Firstly, we achieve more neck stability by removing less wood.
Secondly, we allocate a fretboard area for heavy riffing/chordal playing. Lastly, it is a part of Snakebite Diptych’s aggressive appearance!
27 Jescar stainless steel frets
There are plenty of reasons to select a 27 fret guitar. Starting from the need to have an expanded note palette,
ending with excellent access to the last frets.
The zero fret is ~0.2 millimeters higher than the others. In this way, we increase the service life of the zero fret,
which will be endure the test of time for many years to come.
Hybrid fret ends
Ball-ended frets turned out to be a great solution for scalloped fretboard. The edge of the fretboard becomes more rounded and the standard fret end no longer seems to be the best thing. But in the case of progressive scale scallop, we can offer a hybrid version. To be specific, a ball-end for scalloped segments and a classic fret end for the rest.

NECK
Composite neck: american black walnut/sapele 5-piece neck with dense roasted white ash in the heart.
The Asymmetric Lite profile with the usual thickness of 21-23 mm can pleasantly surprise you. This profile combines the feeling of a thin neck along the treble and the familiar thickness along the bass strings.
The LED side markers system will never let you down in low-light conditions. The system consumes little energy and is not only reliable, but also service-friendly. No wiring under the fretboard and no complicated light guide system is needed. We install only one LED under the neck pickup.
PLAYBILITY
Neck joint and volute
When we talk about a good neck, we mean that you will not feel a change in the profile when you put a chord on the first fret or when you performing vibrato on the 27th. The neck profile comes from an in-depth volute and enters the body smoothly and truly deeply. Many guitars have excellent ergonomics, but this pair is a paradigm in this regard.
Body contact segments
All of them are rounded as much as possible. The back of the lower horn has no sharp edges and fits perfectly on the leg. The geometry of the top is also dictated by ergonomics; the archtop allows your hand to rest on a smooth curved surface.
Balance
In the case of this Diptych, the balance can be called almost perfect. With a really low guitar weight, the balance is literally “on the edge”, without the compromise of any neck dive.
Custom bridge and bridge plate
You won’t feel the screws in the saddles; just a smooth, rounded surface in 5% matte black color. The bridge plate raises the strings relative to the body by 4.5 millimeters. Thus, the picking hand can perform without any obstacles, even with an aggressive playing technique.
BODY
Materials
We prefer a combination of dense wood for the body and a relatively soft top material in this case. Sapele and curly hard maple are really great-sounding woods and they perfectly balance the soft (albeit hybrid) poplar burl top.
The rear top
Doesn’t really affect the guitars in terms of sound characteristics, but it definitely adds a twist in terms of appearance.
Custom elements
Pickguards, pickup covers, inlays, complex custom painting, just to name a few. The plethora of elements that abound in these builds are all definitely about the design and appearance. Sometimes quantity turns into quality and the guitar becomes an art object in itself. A lot of things are done in this direction, just to give the musician a wonderful visual experience.
ELECTRONICS
The 6th generation version of the PASS system, with a charging battery on board.
We offer our in-house pickup system with our guitars and basses. Basically, we can get a bright and dynamic tone, while keeping intact the timbre pallet. That way you get the benefits of both the passive and the active version. Additionally, our guitars are equipped with a piezo, a rare feature in guitar making.
When you are in need a more acoustic tone, the piezo is irreplaceable.
COMBINED FINISH
Perhaps this is the perfect solution that combines the beauty of a glossy coating body with deeply saturated colors and a tactilely warm and velvety matte neck.
Pay attention to the seamless transition of the two types of coating; there are no strange borders across the neck, only a thin edge of the neck heel.
